World Economic Forum video

Earlier this year I agreed to join the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Food and Water Security. This may seem like an odd fit given my background and area of focus, but I saw it as an opportunity to ensure that nature was part of the conversation.

Indeed, when I was asked at the Annual Meeting of the Global Future Councils why I am passionate about food and water security, my response was: “I see food and water security as a way to broaden the constituency for protecting nature.”

While I was at the meeting, I sat down to talk with the World Economic Forum’s media team. And today they released the video.

It definitely isn’t my finest performance due to sleep deprivation at the time, but the WEF video team did a wonderful job on their end.
